These concrete\u00a0dinosaurs\u00a0were constructed cira the 1970s by a man named Lonnie Coffman and Gregory L. Wicker. Wicker and Air Force serviceman at the time helped to build the giant concrete, chicken wire,\u00a0re-barb\u00a0 structures in exchange for part of his rent. Although the project never made it to\u00a0completion\u00a0the\u00a0dinosaurs\u00a0can still be found crumbling away in their same location. The true beauty in visiting these\u00a0dinosaurs\u00a0was to witness first hand the failed dream of an entrepreneur\u00a0unintentionally made famous as a part of roadside americana.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Exercise Type:<\/span><\/strong> Lower-Body Strength Endurance and Flexibility<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Rational: <\/span><\/strong>Squatting develops leg strength. Adding the isometric stretch at the bottom of the squat along with\u00a0moving\u00a0through a complete range of motion from the &#8220;sumo&#8221; position will aid in the development of\u00a0lower-body\u00a0flexibility.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Major Muscles Trained:<\/span><\/strong> Rectus Femoris, Vastus Lateralis, Medialis and Intermedius, Adductor Magnus, Longus and Brevis.
